This was a lovely hotel to stay in! We had to ask them for a different room as I'm disabled and couldn't manage the one we were given on top floor, but could manage stairs to first,which they did!! We had lovely room overlooking garden! Ot was a good size too! The hotel is right in the centre of Winchester, short walk to trains or buses and Winchester Cathedral, shopping centre and many pubs, cafes and restaurants!! The food was delicious, and there were plenty of choices for breakfast, including cooked breakfast! Staff were great and friendly too!! Considering where the hotel is, middle of Winchester, it was lovely and quiet!! The shower was also lovely, stayed nice and hot!!

We stayed here because the price was discounted for a larger room and it has convenient parking (£15 charge), with breakfast included in the price, and we needed to be in Winchester to meet friends. The location for the High Street is excellent. Reception is good. We were very happy with our stay. The room and bed is most comfortable. The shower is fantastic. Everything is clean. Kettle and Nespresso in the room and complimentary water. TV. Good lighting. The staff are helpful. The restaurant buffet breakfast is excellent, with a varied choice. I would recommend it.

Great location, bed was brilliant, nice and wide and great bedding, it was very quiet even though your near the hub of Winchester, unfortunately you can hear the plumbing but only for a short while luckily. The garden restaurant is lovely and the sitting area really cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, waitress was really friendly and very efficient. The receptionist was also brilliant we forgot to get their names. We would go back.

Location was great, right in the middle of Winchester so everywhere is walkable. Old building with high ceilings and lots of period features. Lovely conservatory breakfast room/restaurant over looking the garden, and a great breakfast too (well worth it). Rooms were modern and spacious, with everything you might want. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Really relaxing atmosphere, Best place we've stayed for years.

Lovely old building with original features. Cozy bar and lounge area. Nice quiet room. Lovely warm room, and the heated towel rail was a nice touch. The staff were great and the breakfast was tasty with options. The hotel, was made to look warm & homely with a lovely Christmas feel, which was very welcomed and my partner loved that. Would definitely go back, but probably only with a cheaper deal. Thanks for the stay, TWR.
